Black Park Parkrun
For everyone
SATURDAY 09:00AM
Every Saturday morning we meet at Black Park Parkrun for our social run. We meet at 8:50am by Go Ape coffee shop for our warm up before the 9am 5k run/jog/walk Parkrun. We usually wear our orange t-shirts, so it’s easy to spot us. Sometimes we go on tour to different Parkruns, lovely to try out new courses and there’s always a friendly welcome for the tourists at new Parkruns. Usually the run is finished off with a coffee and a weekly catch up. To get your time registered and sent to you via email and text you need to register.
Parking at Black Park Parkrun can be extremely busy especially the first Saturday of the month when the pacers run. This is a great opportunity for you to get a personal best time by choosing the right pacer. Yearly parking permits are available to buy which also can be used at Langley Park and Denham Country Park
PARKRUN is a series of 5k runs held on Saturday mornings in areas of open space around the world. They are open to all, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. If you're aged between 4 and 14, you may also be interested in the junior parkrun. These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians. Also parking at Country Parks
Testimonials
I was introduced to Run and Fitness by a friend in March 2016. We joined on a Friday morning and straightaway were welcomed by Carmel, Steph and the group. My fitness has gone from strength to strength. I lost weight, and started running 5k within a very short time. Carmel and Steph are so encouraging. They work with you at your pace and make each session really enjoyable for all abilities. The last 3 years have been a brilliant journey for me. I have made amazing friendships both for fitness and fun. Two fitness holidays to Ibiza have been awesome and memories I treasure! I urge anyone just starting out to come along. You have nothing to loose!

If you want to have fun whilst exercising then this is the group for you! We laugh, chat and out the world to rights. I’ve gone from couch potato to completing a half marathon and have loved every minute 🏃♂️🏃♀️

I am coming to the end of the 10 week couch to 5k course and I am so glad I joined! I have never been a jogger or into fitness & have rarely stuck at a exercise regime for long, but I love coming to Run & Fitness.
Carmel is so encouraging & supportive, I am now determined to go out jogging as often as possible and know that I will continue to go to the Run & fitness groups from now on!!
Thank you for helping me to do something, I never thought I could do (Jog more than 30 secs!)
